POMINI history began in 1886 in Italy, when Luigi POMINI established a workshop for maintenance and repair of manufacturing machinery. Scientific and technical strengthening led POMINI to a superior technological standard, and soon started producing sophisticated gearboxes, foregoing the further development in rolling mill business, established in the post-war period, specializing in the long products field. Since 2000, the integration in large multinational groups (Techint now Tenova, VAI, Siemens, and Mitsubishi), further expanded the company's international reach. Since 2021 the POMINI brand relives autonomously and in 2023 the company became part of the Indian group PP Rolling Mills. POMINI Long Rolling Mills specializes in hot rolling of long products (bars, profiles, sections, rails and wire rod), for carbon and alloyed steels, special steels and superalloys. In January 2024 POMINI Long Rolling Mills India Pvt. Ltd. has been established to offering Indian steel market POMINI Long Rolling Mills technological solutions.
